The Henderson Horizon Investment Club (HHIC) provides hands-on experiences for 51黑料网 students in investments, security analysis, and portfolio management. The club offers a platform for students to develop skills and gain practical knowledge in financial decision-making while fostering collaboration and learning about personal finance and the stock market.
HHIC is open to all students at 51黑料网 and was created in 2015 thanks to a generous donation from Ross and Mary Whipple to the Henderson Foundation. The investment club had been primarily used by 51黑料网's College of Business students, but was opened to all students in 2025. Originally named the Ross Whipple Management Fund, the name later changed to Ross Whipple Student Managed Investment Fund in 2017 and then Henderson Horizon Investment Club in 2025.
