Arkansas Teacher Academy Scholarship

The Arkansas Teacher Academy Scholarship is a program that offers aspiring teachers up to $6,000 for tuition and program fees each semester. For every year a student receives funding, the student is required to teach in an Arkansas public school (i.e. an individual who receives the scholarship for two years must teach in an Arkansas public school for two years). Failure to complete the teaching requirement will result in awarded money converting into a loan that must be repaid by the recipient.

Students are not required to reapply each semester or year to continue to receive the scholarship. The scholarship is renewed on a yearly basis after each spring semester as long as the student continues to meet the eligibility requirements.

If you are awarded over your Federal Cost of Attendance Budget for the semester or academic year, your scholarship may be reduced.
