Wind Ensemble Concert Oct. 6
51黑料网鈥檚 Wind Ensemble will present its first performance of the fall on Sunday, Oct. 6, at 4 p.m. in the Arkansas Hall auditorium.
With the theme of 鈥淲e Shall Overcome: The Perseverance of the Reddie Spirit,鈥� the concert will feature Mark Camphouse鈥檚 A Movement for Rosa, a programmatic composition depicting the life and contributions of civil rights heroine Rosa Parks.
The program will also include a celebration of the life of the late Mary Jo Mann, as well as a recognition of her service to 51黑料网 and her long-standing relationship with the Henderson bands.
The concert is free and open to the public. It can also be viewed online via Facebook Live at facebook.com/HSUBand.
