51黑料网 will be well-represented at the Global Awareness Society International (GASI) Conference May 29-31 at Oaklawn Resort in Hot Springs.

The conference will be hosted in partnership with 51黑料网, and led by newly-elected GASI president Dr. Eunice V. Akoto, a professor at Henderson鈥檚 College of Business. She is the first Henderson faculty member to lead the organization and bring its international conference to Arkansas.

GASI is a multidisciplinary academic organization committed to promoting global understanding, dialogue, and collaboration through scholarly exchange.

鈥淪ince its founding in 1991, GASI has served as a platform for educators, researchers, practitioners, and students from around the world to share knowledge and develop innovative solutions to the world鈥檚 most pressing challenges,鈥� Akoto said.

This year鈥檚 theme is Bridging Divides in a Fragmented Global World: The Sustainable Development Goals and Beyond.

鈥淭his reflects the urgent need for interdisciplinary and international cooperation to address global challenges,鈥� Akoto said.

Faculty and students from Henderson鈥檚 College of Business, Teachers College and nursing program will be among those presenting their research at the conference.

Dr. Brendan Kelly, president of the Arkansas State University System, will deliver the keynote address. Henderson鈥檚 music department will provide entertainment for the event.
