All accidents and injuries that occur on the HSU campus should be reported immediately. Call the HSU Police Department at 870-230-5098. You may be asked to complete an Accident Report Form to collect any information you have about the incident.
All work-related injuries and illnesses must be reported.
- Call 911 immediately if an employee is seriously injured (loss of consciousness, loss of ability to communicate, chest pain, seizure, difficulty breathing, injury to the head and neck injury).
- Inform the injured worker鈥檚 supervisor.
- The injured worker鈥檚 supervisor (and the injured worker, if possible) should immediately call HSU Police Department at 870-230-5098.
- The injured worker鈥檚 supervisor (and the injured worker, if possible) should immediately call the Injury Hotline at 1-855-339-1893.
If the employee鈥檚 injury is not serious, call the Injury Hotline before seeking medical treatment.
Employees should report even minor injuries to their supervisor prior to leaving work for the day.
