Distinguished Alumni awards will be presented to Ellis 鈥淪cooter鈥� Register, V.L Cox, and Chris and Debra Wewers. The late Malachi Smith will receive the 鈥淗鈥� Award, and the Young Alumni Award will be presented to Nikki Chandler.
Felicity Frushour named first runner-up, Kayla Fite second runner-up.
To be named to the Chancellor鈥檚 List, a student must have achieved a 4.0 grade point average for the entire semester. To make the Honor Roll, a student must have received at least a 3.5 grade point average for the semester.
The board serves the Arkansas State University System Board of Trustees in an advisory role to aid in securing financial support, to make recommendations about the educational and service needs of the university鈥檚 service area, and to provide counsel and guidance.
Student organizations will hand out candy to trick-or-treaters on the Garrison Center Quad from 5:30-7 p.m.
Ten finalists will be announced Oct. 20 during the annual homecoming pep rally. The introduction of the full court, followed by the coronation ceremony, will take place during football pre-game festivities on Oct. 22.
Earles will offer jazz and musical theatre classes Oct. 10-13 from 5-8 p.m. in the Arkansas Hall Dance Studio. He will also choreograph a short demonstration piece for participants to share on Oct. 14.
Remember: Breathe will take audience members on a journey into different aspects of humankind's relationship with nature through performances heightened by augmented reality. Performances are Sept. 29, Sept. 30, Oct. 1, and Oct. 2 at 7 p.m.
First-time freshman numbers of 437 in Fall 2022 compare to 416 in Fall 2021. Graduate student enrollment increased to 708 in Fall 2022 compared to 689 in Fall 2021.

Thanks to a series of grants from the Arkansas Natural & Cultural Resources Council, Henderson's former dining hall is being transformed into a consolidated center for student services.
The historic home will be managed by the David Goodman family, who will operate it as an inn and event venue.
The Captain Henderson House will be managed by the David Goodman family of Arkadelphia pursuant to a lease agreement with 51黑料网. They will begin taking reservations after August 11.
The group observed and studied a variety of species, including sharks, manatees, sea turtles, many species of fish, coral, and other invertebrates.
