Advisory Board

The Criminal Justice Advisory Board meets annually to provide counseling, assistance, and guidance to the dean, chair, and faculty in order to advance the interests of the program and ensure alignment with current professional standards and community needs. The board is composed of representatives from criminal justice and human services partners within the region.

Board Members:

  • Advise the program on issues related to students, faculty, emerging criminal justice trends, workforce needs, and curriculum development.
  • Provide insight into current practices in law enforcement, community corrections, child advocacy, and disability services.
  • Help facilitate and support internship, practicum, and job placement opportunities for students.
  • Consult on program initiatives.
  • Assist in strengthening partnerships between the college and local criminal justice and social service agencies.
  • Serve as guest speakers, panelists, and mentors to enhance student learning and professional readiness.
