Digital Filmmaking Camp

51ºÚÁÏÍø Digital Media Production is hosting its third annual overnight Digital Filmmaking Camp on our campus in Arkadelphia on June 16-20, 2026.

All levels of filmmaking experience are welcome! Whether you are picking up a camera for the very first time or you already have a passion for video production, this camp will give you the hands-on experience you need to grow as a storyteller.

Campers will collaborate to create a complete short film from concept to screening. Throughout the week, you will:

  • Brainstorm an original story idea
  • Write your own script
  • Plan the production and scout locations
  • Act, Shoot, and Edit your project
  • Screen the final cut for the public in the Lecture Hall at Garrison Center

Beyond the daily workshops and production, campers will take part in engaging team-building activities every evening and learn directly from experts. This year’s masterclasses feature:

  1. A professional acting instructor to help directors and actors get the most out of their script and capture the best performances on screen.
  2. Two 48-Hour Film Festival award-winning filmmakers sharing real-world insights and production techniques for filmmaking on a time crunch.
