How many hours are required for the DMD degree?
DMD requires 42 major hours, 45 gen-ed hours, and 12-24 hours for your chosen minor.
Does DMD offer scholarships or other financial aid?
Yes! DMD offers performance-based scholarships, as well as paid work study positions.
What hardware and software will I have access to?
For hardware, DMD uses both Mac and PC workstations, Blackmagic Design cameras and broadcast equipment, DJI drones, Canon digital cameras. DMD uses the latest software from Adobe, Apple, Epic Games, Maxon, Maya and many others. While in the program, students are free to check out any equipment they need for creative projects.
What opportunities do DMD students have outside of the classroom?
Students can join the program鈥檚 student organization, The A/V Club, where they can work on creative projects like short films or podcasts with classmates. Students also frequently assist faculty members with their personal projects.
